Videos

The videos here were all recorded over several years in the early '90s at the Plough, a pub near Clapham Junction in south-west London (see also Jazz at the Junction). The Alan Cooper Trio (sometimes augmented by a bass) was resident there and played once and sometimes twice a week over that time. The quality of the recording is not great and the intrusive background noise doesn't help but in my view, and many others agree, the music is worth preserving and illustrates why Coops was held in such high regard on the UK jazz scene.
