I played piano with Alan Cooper for 30 years, on and off. I admired him greatly as a musician and we became firm friends.

This website is in honour of a superb jazzman and we have included memoirs and pictures from many who knew him.

Time has passed and we have decided now to broaden the range of material within to more general matters as long as they are jazz-related.

Any contributions will be very welcome.
